Saturday Adventure

My parents watched JJ while I was at Craft Night on Friday.  After I left Heather's house, I went straight to my parents house and stayed there the rest of the night.  After being up all night and getting to bed at 4:00 in the morning, I got to sleep in until 11:30.  It was so nice!  Jorge was in Dallas all weekend on a business trip and JJ and I had nothing else to do so we hung out with my parents all day Saturday.  Almost exactly two years ago we went to Medicine Park, OK and the Wildlife Refuge in Lawton, OK.  JJ was only 7 months old then.  We've been talking about going back but had never made it.  Until Saturday.  We decided it was the perfect day to take a quick trip up there.  The last time we went JJ was too little to do anything so he had to be held the whole time.  This time he was able to walk around and explore!  I think we'll make it a tradition to visit Medicine Park and the Wildlife Refuge every year.  Such a beautiful place!

Looking at the ducks.

The sun's reflection on the water was beautiful!

More duck watching.

JJ and I sat at this same spot 2 years ago.

My Dad help JJ on this bridge 2 years ago as well.

My little hiker.

The overlook on Mt. Scott.

Yes, it was very cold up there!

Here are a few comparisons from the last time we made the trip...
