Computer-less and Catching Up

Our computer died about a month ago so I've been without internet for a month. The only time I'm able to get on is when I'm at my parent's house which is about once a week.  Which explains the lack of blog posts.  I haven't had a lot of time to get online and when I do, I don't have much time to blog so this post is going to be pretty random.

My previous post showed a couple flip-flop flowers that I made.  I've made several more since then.  I made these, and the bag, as a birthday gift for one of my mom's friends.  The fake flowers and fabric flowers are removable.  You can switch them out!

I made these shoes for 2 little girls for their birthdays.  I love them!

This is the gift bag and card I made for one of the little girls.

I've also done plenty of cooking and baking.  I haven't taken as many pictures as I should have but here are a few things I've done lately.  This is one of our favorite meals - Apricot Glazed Baked Chicken, Italian Peas, and Rice.  Yum!

I made this cake for a going away party for one of our church families.  It is a Grasshopper Fudge Cake.  It's minty, chocolaty, and oh so yummy!

These are Chocolate Mint Candy Cookies.  The cookies are more like brownies and Andes mints are placed on top as soon as the cookies come out of the oven.  Once softened, swirl and let cool.  Delish!

These are the Chocolate Mint Candy Cookies with vanilla ice cream sandwiched in between.  Perfection!

That's all I've got food-wise.  Every year our Sunday School class takes a weekend camping trip to the lake. Here are a few pictures from that weekend.

Our little water baby could spend all day swimming.

Family photo on our first evening there.

JJ was exhausted.  He fell asleep laying on the deck with Daddy.

The next day, Jorge was the main target for the kids at the camp out.  I'd have to say that he loved it just as much as they did though!  ha!

Now on to some JJ photos!  (Saved the best for last!)

Helping Daddy mow the lawn.

Playing in the yard.

Watching TV with Daddy and eating popcorn.

Playing with Bentley and Brandi.

Holding baby Jett.

Running through the sprinkler with Grandpa.

All done playing now it's time to get to work!

Playing at the park with friends.

Our busy little boy wore himself out.
